The festivities began with a welcome dinner at Clover, the restaurant within La Bastide de Gordes, where the blue and cream palette was evident in each custom detail of the Provencal tablescape. The tables were abundant with delicate florals, custom embroidered initials of the bride and groom on linen napkins, and hand crafted paper details at each setting. In this intimate gathering, guests enjoyed a measured ambience that balanced modern design with a warm, inviting spirit—a perfect prologue to the days ahead.
The garden ceremony was a vision of natural beauty and timeless romance. Set against a grand floral arch bursting with abundant hydrangeas, the scene was straight out of a storybook. Annie, resplendent in her custom lace wedding dress by Monique Lhuiller, moved gracefully along a flower-lined aisle, her radiance perfectly complemented by the delicate powder blue silk dresses worn by her bridesmaids.
Every element of the design, contributed to a picture perfect scene against the backdrop of the hilltop city. The venue’s landscaped grounds provided a fitting context for a ceremony that balanced the warmth of the French countryside with modern styling.
As evening fell, the reception dinner unfolded against panoramic views of Gordes’ rolling hills. Tables were artfully set with cream and blue hydrangea arrangements, blue and white porcelain vessels, and custom crafted details at each place setting that spoke to an exacting attention to detail.
