The landscape was the most important variable when conceptualizing the design for our editorial. We began breaking creating inspiration through descriptive words about what we hoped to see captured at the dry lake bed. We were left with the following: windswept fabrics, dusty tones, ethereal motions, painted skies, windblown hair, intimacy in the vastness.

Contrasting with the dry arid landscape, our gown, with its light layers of billowing fabric, inspired the 'Oasis' concept of the editorial. Symbolically, the bride represents a visual quenching from a dry and desolate landscape. The table design in warm dusty pink tones is paired with custom paper goods and textural foliage foraged straight from the landscape.
